This is a view of inside of new Cutler Hammer breaker box.
There are 2 separate AC feeds coming in the bottom, the larger cable
is the feed from an external source like a campground plug-in. The
smaller cable coming in the bottom is from an internal AC source
which is a generator.
The external AC feeds into the two breakers on the right, the internal
AC feeds into the two breakers on the left. The right pair and the
left pair of breakers are never on at the same time. They are jumpered
together on their output side (top end of the breakers) so that which
ever source is switched on then feeds the AC circuits in the camper.
This use of two sources into the same breaker box is the only aspect
of the camper's wiring that does not meet code.
The brown nomex cable at the top is 14/2 w/ground. It is fed from the
right hand 15A breaker of which ever pair is turned on. This brown
nomex is original wiring of the camper installed by the manufacturer.
The blue nomex going out the sides is fed from the left hand 15A breaker
of whichever pair is turned on. Each of these supplies one outlet box.
